I can’t wait for the weather to warm up and the days to get longer so I can get back out on the water. I have a couple trips planned already so I am sure my summer will book up fast. I usually head out on the first sign of some warm weather in late March or April for my annual trip around Salt Spring Island. This is a three or four day trip. Does anyone want to join me this year?
If you click on this picture you will be taken to a “your next adventure” page with the details of three different trips. Check it out. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
Meister Eckhart said, “God is unnameable and (therefore) Omni-nameable”, and so Meister Eckhart prays, “I pray God to rid me of God. I pray (the unnameable) God to rid me of (the idol I have named) God.”
Chasing the unnameable God is the joy of my life.
For me the experience of God is not found in the certainty of religion but in the mystery of the moment. My writing and life passionately pursue this mystery.
I have been a hockey player, pastor, and entrepreneur. I love life, the outdoors and listening to people's stories. I have been married thirty-eight years to my wife Kelly. Together we have raised four boys. The recent sale of my business has me longing to spend more time out in the wild. Last year I completed a Wilderness First Aid Course and paddled my kayak for over a hundred hours on five trips. I continue to learn each time I go out and count myself fortunate that we live in such a beautiful part of the world. Check out - Your next Adventure
